This award was first presented in 2004 and a Perpetual Award plaque is displayed in the Laconia Room at Colby Field. This Board of Directors Award honors a past President for their dedicated and faithful service to Laconia Little League.

Dick Fields Award
The Dick Fields Memorial Umpire Award was established in 2001. Dick became a Little League volunteer in 1977 while working as a coach in Tee Ball. Dick continued coaching until becoming an umpire in 1983, and umpired until his death in 2001. Dick also served as an active tournament umpire from 1983 to 2000.
Dick left us in 2001 and is sadly missed. His love of the youth of Laconia and the love of Little League Baseball will carry on for years to come. If you listen at the games you can still hear Dick’s call… “Gotcha!” … “You’re OK!” … Thank you, Dick, we miss you!
Criteria
The Dick Fields Memorial Umpire Award is awarded to a Laconia Little League Umpire for his/her exemplary service equal to the dedicated service Dick provided our league for many years.

Dorthea Tuttle Award
Dorthea R. Tuttle was the wife of longtime Laconia Little League Manager and Volunteer Bill Tuttle. Dorthea loved Laconia Little League and the game of baseball. An award to recognize this love was founded in 1999 and is awarded to a minor division softball player.
Criteria
The Dorthea R. Tuttle Sportsmanship Award is awarded to a Minor Division Softball player who demonstrates good sportsmanship and team spirit.

Jason Charland Award
Jason Charland was the son of Patty and “Red” Charland; he was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia in April of 1987, days before the start of his last year in Laconia Little League. Jason was a member of Laconia Little League’s All-Star Team which was New Hampshire District II runners-up in 1986 and was a member of the 1984 Junior All-Star Tournament Team. Jason had a burning desire to excel in sports, his competitiveness was unequaled but he also carried himself with true sportsmanship and respect for his opponent. The Jason Charland Memorial Award was first awarded in 1989.
Criteria
The Jason Charland Memorial Award recipient is given to a player that exhibits baseball enthusiasm, the values of sportsmanship, sets a good example and a trying team spirit. This award goes to a 9 year old player on the Laconia Little League Junior All-Star Tournament Team.

Joseph Arruda III Award
Joe Arruda was a valued Laconia Little League Volunteer. Joe served as Vice President in 1968 and 1969, as President from 1970 – 1974 and in 1981 and 1982 and as League Secretary in 1979-1980. The first year this award was presented was in 1986.

Mr. Little League Award
The “Mr. Little League Award” is dedicated in the memory of Antonia Demers and was donated by the Youth Activities Committee of the Lodge of Elks #876 in Laconia. The first year this award was presented was in 1971.
Criteria
The Mr. Little League Award is presented to a 12 year old Major League Baseball player that helps his/her team mates, always tries hard, sets a good example, demonstrates good sportsmanship, plays fair at all times, and is a team player.

Miss Little League Award
The “Miss Little League Award” was first presented in 1992 with the introduction of Softball to Laconia Little League. In 2000 the Board of Directors dedicated the Miss Little League award to Richard J. Plourde. Richard was an avid softball fan whether it was watching his granddaughters play or his son coach and was a supportive Laconia Little League Volunteer.
Criteria
The Miss Little League Award is presented to a 12 year old Major League Softball player that helps her team mates, always tries hard, sets a good example, demonstrates good sportsmanship, plays fair at all times and is a team player.

Paul Ouellette Award
Paul Ouellette was a quiet young man who exemplified every criteria of a “good sport”. He loved the game and always showed the ability to be a Good Sport and leader. Paul distinguished himself by accomplishing the previously mentioned, while battling cancer for over nine years. He recovered and relapsed many times in his short life. At one time he had just recovered from a bone marrow procedure, and was on the practice field a few days late, but there he was, with his smile, ready to start a new baseball season.
Despite numerous advances and setbacks, each time Paul returned and he did so with the same confidence and ability to recover and “play ball”. This was something that left his coaches and team mates in awe. “He touched us with his positive attitude and sportsmanship.” – Jim Presher, Paul’s Coach.
In 1991 Paul was nominated and won the Little League Eastern Region Good Sport Award. Paul died in 1995 at the age of 15.
Criteria
The Paul Ouellette Good Sportsmanship Award is awarded to a Minor Division Baseball player who demonstrates good sportsmanship and team spirit equal to that displayed by Paul during his Little League career.
